This journal is friends & fans only for my writings. I appreciate it if you respect my hard work and do not bash me for the type of fan-fiction that I write or the my preferences. Each one of us is entitled to their own personal opinion and preferences in taste.
As a brief warning about the contents of this journal, it contains text written in English primarily but also Romanian, Japanese, Russian, Italian, French and German.
You do not need to have a lot of things in common with me as I mostly do not interact that much with my readers, other than through the comments in this journal. Do not steal my work, do not attack other or speak rudely and be nice. It is all I ask.

New Glossary:
Paradox Quil = collection of original prose and poetry.
Matryoshka Box = collection of fan-fiction prose, based mostly on jrock bands but also Korean artists and possible anime. The name comes from the Russian 'Matryoshka doll' which is a set of dolls of increasing sizes placed one inside the other. Matryoshkas are also used metaphorically, as a design paradigm, known as the "matryoshka principle" or "nested doll principle". It denotes a recognizable relationship of "object-within-similar-object" that appears in the design of many other natural and man-made objects. In my version 'matryoshka' is used because of the presence of one and the same person (character/artist/singer) in several types of stories and alternative universes. The use of 'box' is from "Chinese boxes" is the traditional form and origin from which the modern version of 'matryoshka doll' was made.

I'm saying this once more and for the last time: the story DIAMONDS & ROSES IS DROPPED
Understand that already people, it was a joint brainstorm of mine and a (former)friend. My interest for kpop is not as high as it used to be since in any case I was a jrock fan from the very beginning and only tried the "korean wave" which didn't last long for me.

I can understand frustration and pleas for Naja or LvBvW or any other but please just drop the idea of Diamonds&Roses ever appearing again.

"Embrace the darkness of your future but never forget the bitterness of your past."

Naive, dreamy Naoki had the goal to become an artist known to the world and to give visual life to every beauty that he could capture. His plans drifted far from their path from the moment he came in contact with the naja world. After much struggle and with too many near-death experiences to count, the colors of his talent faded, he accepts his role and turns from mind-clouded to cold-calculated, but only when necessary. His art turns to sketches that hold details that even a photograph could not give. Black and white prevail against all as well as his growing and lasting affection for Gin. He considers Gin the reason for his downfall and rise, swears to protect him and those he cares around him in the hope that a tragedy like that of his sister would never happen again.
His sketches take up a significant residence in the library "Tchaikovsky Chocolate" where Olivia and Gin add the image to the written facts that form the history of their world.

"Every drop of ink leaves a memory, it's my job to make that ink a work of art."

Kanryou was a born in Japan and raised there until he turned eighteen when he moved to SUA to pursue his career in tattoos. He developed a healthy career until he met Hideyoshi who wished to have the entire surface of his face tattooed. The attraction between gradually grew until Hideyoshi decided to make him his companion and possible lover (after his mind games were over). Kanryou considered it to be the one and only influence and manipulation of his life as he could not resist the pull of the naja's allure.
Between drawing tattoo designs and his usual bickering with Hideyoshi, keeping his lover's pet spider Metallica away from his ink bottles and ridding his motorcycle, he is also one of the primary tattoo designers in Europe who is often commissioned to make ritual and traditional designs for various reasons in the Crimson World.

P.S. Metallica, Hideyoshi's spider looks like this ain't she cuuuute, and yes that's her real color. The full name of her species is Poecilotheria metallica; she's a tarantula.

"If you don't like it, kill it."

Hideyoshi is one of the few alchemist known of naja origin. His abilities although reach the potential of a genius are often overshadowed by his witty and often lecherous behavior. He takes the opium necessity in a serious way though which makes him a valuable asset to the group. His distinct feature is the changing tattoo on his face that varies each month. His toxins are probably the reason he skin sheds so often. Contrarily to his outer behavior and antics he was strongly attracted to Kanryou when he visited SUA for the first time and ended up in his tattoo parlor. The attraction turns to teasing from his part and tension builds until he uses the ultimate weapon a naja has to bind a person to him. Sex maintains their ravenous tempers to the float line and also gives the path to a deep love that settles in both of them though, as they both are idiots, don't realize it until the end.

"When I lash out, I always do it with style, as any pro dancer who doesn't give a damn about what the world thinks."

Gin is one of the few najas with regalia descendent powers that allows him to be a librarian sentinele for Olivia Benbow's 'Tchaikovsky Chocolate' library. With the capacity of absorbing words and molding them into weapons, he fears little in the world and takes great pleasure in looking down on people and making rude comments. His nickname 'diva' comes from his snarky atitude but incredible dancing talent. Whilst he pushes away any and all that try to befriend him, he is closely attached to his little sister Hitomi and later on, Naoki.
He also has a pet snake named Jaya which he picks up on one expedition through Europe. The snake usually rests in the sleeve of his right arm.

As some of you may have noticed beside the current stories I am working on I have others on the list for future writing. My main and most vast (7 volumes) story will be "Crimson Rose" in which I shall create my own universe, similar to the style in which "Harry Potter" 's magical world was created, but of course in another version and a totally different concept and storyline.

Below are the titles of my stories, those that are stand-alone and the ones included in the "Crimson Rose" universe. A prominent creature that appears in other stories that is part of CR are the najas ("Naja", "Rogue Sands" etc.) Most of them have no connection between themselves except for the universe itself and a handful of characters that appear in almost all of them. I have put them chronologically as some events in a previous book may trigger an event in a future book, without a mention to it, or it can appear as a historical event.

Example: The librarian descendant of the Royal Library of Alexandria, from "Tchaikovsky Chocolate" helping the main characters in "Naja"

For those who have a wider range of knowledge in the manga area, this is a technique called "Osamu Tezuka's Star System" (the reuse of the same characters in different roles in different stories.). More recently it can be noticed in CLAMP's works "Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle"; all in all loosely defined as "CLAMP Universe".

Stories within the "Crimson Rose" universe (these stories are arranged in the chronological order of the universe, not all are strictly connected between them through events, though characters from a certain story may appear in another):
  • Goshinboku
  • Tchaikovsky Chocolate
  • Love versus Bullet von Wine
  • Nocturne
  • Crimson Rose
  • Millenium
  • Naja「BlackJack of desires」
  • Rogue Sands
  • The Cardinal 【Gazette】

Stand-alone stories:
  • 893「Backstreet Inferno」
  • Beloved
  • Black Wings
  • D'Mask
  • Metropolis

I don't know who noticed or not but I have an obsession with some numbers: 3, 7, 9, 10, 13. Especially 7, 7 is my ultimate magical number =)), so don't be surprised when you meet them often in the books.

P.S.  Chapter 9 "Apothecary" of Naja is in progress, foreseeing the longest chapter of the book up until now.
